Garbage Studio Diary #32 November 8-14 2004.

We finshed our 4th mix today and have now moved on to Bad Boyfriend.I can't believe that we'll be out of here in a few weeks.I even spoke to the art department at Geffen today so we can begin work on the artwork for the cd package.It's all ramping up at last! I just can't WAIT to get out of this room.
Is it true that Scotland banned`smoking in public places this week???? I can hardly believe it.The idea of a smoke-free scotland just doesn't seem plausible!
Also very strange to hear of Arafat's death today.He's been around for as long as I can remember.So long and constant that his death doesn't feel real somehow.It doesn't feel possible that someone who has loomed so large in life can expire.........just like that.
I'm leaving for NYC tonight to attend another of JT's readings over the weekend.I'm looking forward to seeing him again.It's been over a year since I last saw his sweet wee angelic face.
All in all it should be a pretty cool evening as Lou Reed is supposedly going to be reading too along with people as diverse as Nancy Sinatra and Mary Karr so I'm really looking forward to it. Unfortunately as a result I'm going to miss Gwen's release party in LA.I'm also going to miss Marylin Manson play in Milwaukee tonight which is a drag as I would have loved to have seen the show.
Oh well.

Don't feel like writing anymore this week and I've got to head on out to the airport anyways so I'm just going to sign off here.
