The band will make their first ever German national TV appearance on TV Total on Monday, June 24th. Make sure to tune into PRO7 at 10:20PM to catch this special performance.

Shut Your Mouth Single to be released July 8th !
The 4th single from Beautifulgarbage "Shut Your Mouth" will be released throughout Europe on July 8th and in Germany June 24th. B sides include Happiness Part 2 as well as live versions of "Only Happy When It Rains" and a live cover version of "Wild Horses". Stay tuned for more information about release date in the UK.

April 8th will be the commercial release in the UK for Breaking Up The Girl, the 3rd single from Beautifulgarbage. 3 CD's will be released which will include new songs Happiness and Confidence as well remixes by Brothers in Rhythm and Timo Mass. In addition, an acoustic version of Breaking Up The Girl, the video of Breaking Up The Girl and a cover of the Velvet Underground song Candy Says will also be available.

The video for Breaking Up the Girl makes its world premiere on January 21st during the intermission of MTV's "Daria The Movie".
The song is the movie's theme song and will be used in promos for the movie along with behind the scenes footage of the making of the video starting on January 4th.

Shirley, Mary J. Blige and Elton John Named Spokespeople for Viva Glam IV and Mac Aids Fund
Shirley along with Sir Elton John and Mary J. Blige have been named the 2002 spokespeople for Mac's Viva Glam IV fundraising lipstick. An advertising campaign shot by photographer David LaChapelle will launch in February 2002. Since its creation in 1994, VIVA GLAM lipsticks have been the primary fund-raising tool for The M•A•C AIDS Fund. To date, the M•A•C AIDS Fund has raised more than $23 million in order to provide daily services for men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. One hundred percent of the $14.00 suggested retail price of the lipsticks go directly to the Fund.
